Valentine's Day~

Sorry for the crappy coloring job! >_< But still, happy Valentine's Day to everyone out there! Now I have one more thing for you... A mushy story... So here you go, enjoy the rest of your day! <3 And a quick note, I do not own Hero by Enrique Iglesias and never will. XD

I'll Be Your Hero on Valentine's Day

White puffs drifted from the sky outside, the bleak sky turning dark. Narrowed golden eyes starred out into the frosty cold outside. If there wasn’t so much snow on the road he could have taken Piano out somewhere nice. After all, today was an especially important day.

February the fourteenth, also known as Valentines Day. It really didn’t hit him until two days ago that it was approaching, it wasn’t until he happened to pass by the calender did he finally realize it. But the snowstorm hit. The roads were dangerous and covered by ice and snow. The last thing the brunette wanted was a ruined car and an irritated pianist.

But what was he going to do? He ran a hand through his brown locks and cast a glance down the hall to where the sounds of classical music drifted from. Piano was already busy with playing his instrument.

He felt slightly disappointed that the other Musican hadn’t done anything yet… But it was only five o’clock, though the chances were slim of the Musican actually doing something for him, he still had that small light of hope that Piano would.

Honestly, he wouldn’t be surprised if the other didn’t. It took a ridiculous amount of time to figure out Guitar’s emotions of love towards him, and Piano wasn’t all that open with his emotions in the first place. But it was the little things that Piano did for him that counted. Like fixing his favorite meals, watching movies with him, and even doing a music duet with him. All of these little things are what he liked the most.

Guitar suddenly perked up, a certain chord of whatever song Piano was playing resonated a little louder and reached Guitar’s ears. A small smile curled at his lips. Oh yes, he knew exactly what he could do for him.
The guitarist just hoped that Piano would like it.

A sigh escaped the pianist’s lips as the final chord of the song he was playing floated through the air, reverberating around the room before fading away. Silver eyes glanced at the snow drifting outside from behind square lenses with a smile.

He loved snow, he really did. Sure, it kept him from traveling, but it also meant a time for peace and relaxation. Speaking of which, he was surprised that Guitar wasn’t bothering him right now.

Oh, Piano was very aware of the day. But his plans were dashed by this snowstorm. He was planning to take Guitar out to an indoor Valentine’s Day concert in the nearby town. But due to the weather, it was being rescheduled. Yes, they could go out then, but it wasn’t the same as doing so on the day of Valentine’s Day.

His breath escaped him; he pushed down the cover for his instrument and rested his elbows on the black finished wood, his fingers rubbing at his temples. The one time he actually tries to do something for the guitarist, and his favorite weather ruins it. Absolutely, bloody, perfect.

Piano knew how Guitar hated cold weather. The Musican also hated being cooped up inside of one place, Guitar was known for pacing and simply laying on the floor when he was absolutely bored… That, or simply bugging Piano, much to his irritation.

Though, it was strangely quiet right now… Almost suspiciously so. Silver eyes darted around to room for any sight of the brunette trying to sneak up on him. Nothing was out of place in the large room. Pushing himself up from the bench, his shoes clicked against the marble floor below.

It was only five o’clock, but he really should start considering what they were going to have tonight. Even if they didn’t need to eat, the option was nice. At least Guitar hadn’t thought of trying to fix dinner on his own, black smoke would be coming from the kitchen otherwise.

As he approached the kitchen, his keen ears picked up on an interesting noise, though he really shouldn’t have been surprised.

He heard the faint sound of strumming coming from somewhere else in the house. A smile curled at Piano’s lips. At least Guitar found something to do besides annoy him to death.

He paced down the hallway, searching for the brunette. As he continued to journey through the house, the sound of the strings being plucked only got louder. It sounded more like he was tuning his instrument. Well, if he found Guitar he could at least ask the Musican what he wanted for dinner.

Opening a door, he found himself in the living room, a fire already going in the fireplace. Strange, he didn’t start one. Then, he found Guitar sitting on a chair facing the door, smiling at him with his acoustic sitting in his lap.

“Ah, there you are. What do you want for-?”

“Sit down.”

Piano stood in the doorway, a little confused by the brunette. “What? Why should I?” He asked. Guitar frowned and pointed to the couch.
“So I can give you your Valentine’s gift!”

Gray eyes blinked a few times in surprise. He really didn’t want anything for Valentine’s day, but Guitar would be downhearted if he didn’t accept it and would sulk like a kicked puppy for a good week.

With a sigh he closed the door behind himself and took a seat on the green couch, looking over to the guitarist. “So? What is it? I thought I told you not to get me anything?” He muttered, crossing his arms with a slight glare.

“Yeah, but ‘t’s something I didn’t buy.” A black eyebrow was raised in questioning when the brunette got to his feet. What did he mean by that? Piano hadn’t seen him making anything, so what was it?

Then Guitar was in front of him, a good yard away and standing in front of the fire. The warm glow of the fire was the only illumination to the room. He strummed lightly, the notes soft and lingering as they alternated between low and high before settling into a steady rhythm

“Let me be your hero.” Those words were soft, but Piano had heard them, and was stunned when he suddenly understood what the brunette was doing for him. He strummed a few more notes before pausing, but only for a moment before flashing Piano a warm smile and he continued to play the notes, singing as he went on.

“Would ya’ dance; ‘f I asked ya’ ta’ dance? Would ya’ run; an’ never look back? Would ya’ cry; ‘f ya’ saw me’ cryin’?” Those gold eyes were half-lidded, shining with warmth as Piano sat there, completely stunned with a blush covering his cheeks. “Would ya’ save my soul, tonight?” Those words made his heart twist.

Guitar leaned down, stopping his playing for a moment as his calloused fingers delicately touched Piano’s pale lips. “Would ya’ tremble; ‘f I touched your lips?” He pulled back and continued playing as Piano’s blush darkened. “Would ya’ laugh?” A laugh bubbled up from Guitar’s own throat as he sang. “Oh, please tell me this. Now would ya’ die; for th’ one ya’ loved?” He leaned down again, close enough to feel Guitar’s own breath warm his face. “Hold me ‘n your arms, tonight.”

Then Guitar took a step back, looking down at Piano, whose silver eyes were still wide in astonishment, but unwavering from Guitar’s own gaze. “I can be your hero, baby. I can kiss away th’ pain. I will stand by ya’ forever. Ya’ can take, my breath away.”

Piano was completely taken aback by these sudden actions of Guitar that he certainly wasn’t expecting. He was completely unsuspecting to what the brunette had in store. The pianist would have berated himself for blushing like a teenage girl to this cheesy old song. But he was currently too enwrapped by the music the other was singing to actually care.

“Would ya’ swear, tha’ ya’ would always be mine? Or would ya’ lie; would ya’ run an’ hide?” He murmured, Piano could have sworn that his golden eyes were glowing in the dim light of the fire. “Am I ‘n too deep? Have I lost my mind?” Guitar shook his head, before giving a smile that made Piano’s heart ache. “I don’t care, you’re here, tonight.”

“I can be your hero, baby. I can kiss away th’ pain. I will stand by ya’ forever. Ya’ can take my breath away.”

And then the brunette leaned down and kissed him, but only for a moment. Piano had closed his eyes in that brief moment and opened them to see the guitarist smiling down at him with such adoration that it made his heart swell. Guitar played the notes with ease, they were low then reaching into a higher range, still playing the melody with a few more complex notes. Then he just stopped playing. Piano blinked a few times when he propped the guitar against the couch and wrapped his arms around Piano.

“Oh I just want ta’ hold ya’.” Those words seemed so much stronger without the music, and Piano found his own arms wrapping around his neck. The brunette pulled back, his lips curled into one of his genuine smiles that seemed to make Piano’s heart stop. “I just want ta’ hold ya’, oh yeah.” Piano’s hands fell away as Guitar picked up his instrument to play again.

“Am I ‘n too deep? Have I lost my mind?” The pianist felt his own lips curl into a smile when Guitar looked at him. “Well I don’t care, you’re here, tonight.”

The sound of the acoustic seemed to grow strong with each note played. “I can be your hero, baby. I can kiss away th’ pain, oh yeah. I will stand by ya’ forever. Ya’ can take, my breath away.”

“I can be your hero, I can kiss away the pain. And I will stand by ya’ forever! Ya’ can take, my breath away.” His voice, which had risen in volume suddenly softened as he the acoustic aside and kneeled in front of Piano. “Ya’ can take, my breath away.”

He lifted one of Piano’s pale hands that had fallen to his sides and placed a kiss on the back of his hand. Dropping it before carefully placing his hands on both of the pianist’s cheeks. “An’ I can be your hero…”

Those last words lingered in the air, the only other noise was the crackling of the fire behind the guitarist.

Piano didn’t know what to say, his heart had leaped into his throat and those golden eyes were staring at him with a warm glow that outshone the fire that seemed to form a halo around the brunette.

Their lips met softly, comprised of nothing but gentle motions and the warm that radiated from both of them. Piano’s hands moved to Guitar’s brown hair, carding through the brown locks, while Guitar kept his on Piano’s cheeks.

Then the other pulled away, causing Piano’s apparently closed eyes to open and stare back at him. Guitar dropped one hand, but it was replaced by his lips as he placed a chaste kiss on the pale skin on Piano’s face.

He sat down on the couch next to Piano, wrapping an arm around his shoulder to pull him close. “Did ya’ like your present?”

Piano glared at him in mock anger, but he still smiled. “Do you have any idea how old that song it?”

“Hey! ‘t may be an oldie, but ‘t’s still a good song!” He protested. They both laughed, Guitar pulling Piano closer. The other allowed the other Musican to do so. Just this once.

Outside it may be cold, but Valentine’s Day can always warm another’s heart. Piano glanced out of the corner of his eye at Guitar, whose eyes were closed and his head buried into the side of his neck, breathing steadily in his comfortable sleep. He couldn’t help but smile and place a kiss on top of the brunette’s head.

“Happy Valentine’s Day.” And Piano could’ve sworn that he saw Guitar smile in his sleep.

Sorry I haven't been posting, so here's a comic

I know I haven't posted for four days, but I do have reasons! I've been working on multiple stories (my major one I'm having a horrible writing block on), I've been getting ready for Hawaii, and my parents have been bombing me with other crap saying that my comics aren't as important. >_< So basically, I've been being kept from doing crap... SO, I'll post the comics I didn't get a chance to do last week THIS week on their respective days! Sorry for the inconvinence!

It really didn't hit me that Valentines day was tomorrow... Guitar is currently freaking out over what to do. XD

Project distractions

It can be troublesome working on projects with people if you are easily distracted. Me and minakonumnums attempted to work on our Hawaii project, but we were distracted by my little pony. XD

And Guitar is just being a distraction in general and doesn't understand why people have to work. XD

Sorry I didn't get to posting this yesterday. X(

I really didn't know the Superbowl was yesterday... I'm not into football, but I had no clue. Usually there's a lot more commercials for it before game day. O_O

Research fail

Me and a friend are doing a research project for our Hawaii trip on their mythology... It was something about two lovers who couldn't be together or something. We clicked on one of the sites that poped up and it was an advertisement for coffee... Just, wow.

World domination~

Yet another snow day with nothing to do but to play Civilization 2~! The game is a strategy game where the objective is to take over the world... And for some odd reason Guitar likes the sound of that...

I don't understand cats...

Does anyone else's cats chew on your hair after you shower? Anyone?
